Hi! My name's Sebastian. I'm the one who writes everything and maintains Favorite-Classical-Composers.com.

I'm a young Briton who has lived in a variety of different places in the world. I was actually born in Nurnberg, the setting of one of Wagner's operas (but this doesn't make me German...)!

My first exposure to Classical Music was when I was a child. I was fascinated by the sound images of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker suite.

As an adolescent I grew more passionately interested, took up playing the piano (and the glockenspiel in my school orchestra!), and read and listened to everything I could get my hands on.

The subject is one of the loves of my life. That's why I started this site - to share my passion and knowledge with others, and to celebrate these wonderful and soul-stirring artistic achievements!
